I love Photographing Weddings at this Venue, its a very popular choice for Couples, old, rustic and not to mention the stunning Pagoda for your outdoor Ceremony, a massive hit!!

Jade fell in love with the Venue as soon as she visited:

The venue, that's easy, I just loved the outdoor surroundings and the ceremony hut, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and had my heart set on that outdoor wedding and it was everything I hoped it would be, James went along with this as he could see how happy it made me.

After having picked the venue, for me, I loved getting together with Michaela and Bap to sort little things out and getting more excited every time as it got closer, obviously this was done with a drink in hand ha. Me and James made sure every time we made a payment we went up in person so we could see where we would get married, and every time I got butterflies.

Styling, colour wise James wanted pink, once I saw the bridesmaid dresses in the dusty rose colour, I just fell in love, so that was the colour theme set.

My Dad and step mum made the centre pieces for the tables as I just love that rustic look so that's what I went with for the table plan as-well.

Photographer- Well the lovely Karen Nash was recommended to us by Joanne who usually took any of our family pictures. As soon as I met with Karen (you) Instantly felt we had good rap-ore and relaxed, for me this was very important thing as you are going to spend what are some of the happiest and most nerve racking (for me) hours together. Myself and James especially liked that you made an effort to meet again with myself and James so he felt comfortable too. For me and James it was about being able to be ourselves as we don't like posing for pictures and we 100% could do this and the pictures clearly show this. The hours building up to marrying my best friend I was the most nervous I had ever been for anything ever, Karen just knew what to say to help calm the nerves and let me and my bridesmaids be our wacky selves so I would laugh instead of cry ha. And the ceremony, well you know you've got a photographer who is invested in this emotionally when they laugh and cry whilst taking the pictures.

The most memorable moment for me has to be the ceremony, first when I stood there holding the happy tears back with my Dad at the top of the steps, next when I saw James stood there looking so handsome, then when Jensen came toddling over to show us where to go and most of all how much I laughed and had James laughing, to the point I struggled to say our vows. We've looked at the photos and still laugh now.

If I could give any advice for any future brides, it would be to get favours done as early as possible, its easy to forget the little details so get it done and ticked off, and definitely the table plan as early as you can, its so easy to over think who can sit with who. After that enjoy every moment of the planning, it’s exciting times ahead.

Wedding dress, Bridesmaid dresses, flower girls and the suits where all from Anne Whittakers, any alterations we all had was done by Shereen. I knew where I wanted to go as there is history with Anne Whittakers, we first met Lindsey around 9 years ago when my mum was getting married to my Step Dad Liam, during this time I found out I was pregnant with my eldest Lacey, and this made the dress fittings for the bridesmaid dress a little more difficult, it was great to go back with my little human that caused all the trouble.

I used Flower Power Oswaldtwistle for my bride flowers and the mens buttonholes. All the bridesmaid flowers where put together by my very talented Step Mum Jackie. https://www.facebook.com/flowerpoweroswaldtwistle

Hair and Make-up was done by Beth and Bethany at The Illusion Makeup Academy, Hair & Beauty on Warner Street Accrington. https://www.facebook.com/oliviatheillusion

Our amazing cake was made by Danielle Green, it was a very big ask as we was her first wedding cake and also it was not your traditional looking wedding cake, but she surpassed my expectations and we was able to give James a surprise on the day. https://www.facebook.com/forcakesakedanielle

DJ was Darren Daily, this was the one and only input James wanted with the wedding as he lives by music and loves to sing, Darren took the time to find our perfect play list and on the night was very entertaining and handled our requests for karaoke and songs guest wanted playing very professionally and even joined in.
