Welcoming your new baby into the world is one of the most special and emotional moments of your life and those tiny details change so very quickly. As a specialist trained Newborn Photographer in Lancashire, I create beautifully styled, soft and timeless Images that you and your Family will treasure forever - I’m here to make your Newborn Photoshoot truly enjoyable for everyone involved. My studio on Union Road, Oswaldtwistle is easily accessible from Accrington, Burnley, Blackburn and Preston and has been designed to offer a calm, warm and relaxed environment allowing you to sit back and relax whilst I gently pose and photograph your baby safely and naturally.
WITH EXTENSIVE NEWBORN TRAINING Your baby’s safety and comfort is always my top priority. I follow your baby’s cues, ensuring every session is baby-led and unique to you and your family.
MY STYLE INCLUDES naturally baby-led posed styles, which captures your baby relaxed, incorporating blankets, props and wraps to give a cosy timeless feel. Naturally including Parents and Siblings adds family connection with no ‘awkward posing’. Your gallery will be carefully hand-edited creating a soft, dreamy feel whilst keeping a beautifully natural and flattering look for you.

I ALWAYS RECOMMEND capturing these precious first moments within the first 21 days of your baby’s birth, this is so I can capture the gorgeous newborn ‘scrunch’ and your baby is still very sleepy and settled so I can pose them beautifully and safely for those timeless, dreamy images you’ll treasure forever.
If your baby is already here and you have missed this 21 day window, don’t worry, please do still get in touch! Newborns can be photographed up to 8 weeks, however some poses may not be possible due to safety reasons which we will go through in your pre session consultation.
WHEN SHOULD YOU BOOK? I always advise you to book straight after your 20 week scan as I get booked up quickly. I provisionally secure your Photoshoot with your due date, this allows me a window at either side of your due date for if your baby arrives early or late. Once your baby arrives I just ask you to pop me a message so we can then secure your actual date in the diary.

Your Newborn Experience
You will receive a fully guided session, which explains everything on what expect on the day
Getting involved…. GREAT!! However, don’t worry about ‘posing’ my styling is all about the love and connection with your new baby so no ‘awkward posing!’
Your session will last for up to 3 hours, this may seem a long time, trust me, it flys by…. sit back and enjoy a cuppa whilst I lovingly Photograph your new arrival. There is plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and settling.
Worried if your baby doesn’t sleep….. Don’t be, I’m a pro and I’ll capture your gorgeous baby’s eyes whilst they are looking right at the camera!
Package choices there is no need to choose or pay for a package until your gallery viewing appointment which takes place back in the studio 10-14 days after your photoshoot. Here you will view your stunning gallery of up to 30 images on the big screen and then choose which package is right for you. Payment for this will then be made at this time

I recommend booking after your 20-week scan to ensure availability, as I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month.
Your session is booked using your due date, allowing flexibility for when baby arrives early or late.

The ideal time for a newborn session is within the first 5–21 days after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and can be gently posed into those beautiful curled-up positions.
That said, if your baby is a little older, please don’t worry — I can still create stunning images at any stage.

You’ll arrive at the studio for your unique and personalised photoshoot, which includes full use of our outfits, props, wraps, headbands and posing baskets. If you have any sentimental items you'd like to include, please bring them along and let me know—I’ll do my best to incorporate them into your images.
While I Capture the kost stunning images of your baby, you can relax in the warm and comfortable client area, with full view of your baby at all times. Help yourself to unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks as I create a beautiful gallery for you.

Yes! It’s completely normal for your baby to feed more during a photoshoot, so please don’t worry. If you’re not breastfeeding, I ask that you bring extra milk to ensure your little one stays happy and content throughout the session.

Please allow up to 3 hours for your newborn session. I work entirely at your baby’s pace, with plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles. This relaxed approach ensures your little one is comfortable, safe and content, allowing us to capture the most beautiful images for you.

During your session we will secure a date for you to come back to the studio 10-14 days later
